Baker College of Auburn Hills Offers CSWA Exam to CAD Professionals, Baker Students
Baker College of Auburn Hills is offering Computer-Aided Design (CAD) professionals the opportunity to take the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) exam on March 19 at 9 a.m., room Tec 13, automotive technology building, 1500 University Drive, Auburn Hills. At the same time, Baker College of Auburn Hills CAD and Design Technology associate degree program students who have completed three SolidWorks classes will take the CSWA as their final exam.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for CAD professionals and for our students,” said Ann Jacob, Baker College of Auburn Hills department chair for CAD. “CSWA certification is used as a benchmark to measure knowledge and competency of the SolidWorks 3D software, and individuals who hold this credential will stand out from the crowd in today’s competitive job market.”
For CAD professionals who decide to sit for the exam, there is a nominal $100 fee. They may also download a sample exam at www.solidworks.com/CSWA.
